Danbury Hypnosis | Stephanie Dalfonzo

HypnoTherapy
Hypnotherapy

focuses on hypnosis, the Greek term for sleep. The practice uses exercises that relax people, bringing them to an altered state of consciousness. This process focuses on mastering self-awareness. Through trance-like analysis, hypnosis decreases blood pressure and heart rate, putting one’s physical body at ease. Working with memories, hypnotherapy helps a person to reframe, relax, absorb, dissociate, respond, and reflect. The process reconstructs healthier associations with a person’s past events. Dealing with a wide range of conditions (and pain), people become responsive to new solutions that can lead to personal development through hypnotherapy.

If you’re looking for Hypnotherapy in Danbury or for a Danbury Hypno therapist these professionals provide hypnotherapy, hypnosis hypnotherapy, hypnotherapy weight loss, smoking hypnotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy. They include clinical hypnotherapists in Danbury plus Hypno therapists, Hypno psychologists, Hypno psychotherapists and Hypno counselors.

CAN I GET STUCK IN HYPNOSIS?
No one has ever gotten “stuck” in hypnosis. You can come out of trance any time you wish. Many of my clients say that they enjoy the state of hypnosis so much that they don’t want to come out! That is why I really enjoy teaching a rapid form of self hypnosis!

WILL I REVEAL SECRETS?
Absolutely not. You are completely alert and in control at all times. You will only share information that you want to and that will facilitate your desired change. And rest assured, whatever you do share is held in the strictest of confidence .

WILL I BARK LIKE A DOG OR CLUCK LIKE A CHICKEN?                                                      No!  In hypnosis you are in control at all times.  I cannot make you do anything that you don’t want to.  Also, my intent is to help you in every way possible to help you make the changes you desire.

HOW LONG IS A HYPNOSIS SESSION?
All session are 60 minutes

.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL IT TAKE?

Hypnosis is not a long term process, like talk therapy.

We are able to quickly get to the root cause, and heal it.  And yet,  some hypnotists  will promise you a one session miracle, I don’t. With almost 20 years of experience, I know that once you have made a shift, it is vitally important that you know how to reinforce it, so you don’t slide back into old patterns and behaviors.

Just like brushing your teeth to prevent cavities, you need to practice simple ways to calm stress and anxiety everyday, so it doesn’t build up to overwhelm and panic attacks or revert you back to old, unhealthy behaviors.

As Gay Hendricks says in his book “The Big Leap”: “…while breakthroughs are important and thrilling, it’s the stabilization and integrations of the breakthroughs into daily life that really allow the changes to be permanent.”

Hypnosis is a powerful tool to help clients overcome challenging issues such as anxiety, phobias, pain management, hot flashes and more. Hypnosis is also a way to help let go of addictions like smoking, overeating and gambling. In and of itself, hypnosis is not a therapy, but it can be used in conjunction with therapy to empower and encourage the person receiving it to make positive change. Some people are more susceptible to hypnosis and will benefit more from hypnotherapy than others.

According to Dr. Clifford N. Lazarus, speaking for Psychology Today, hypnosis is a “genuine psychological phenomenon that has valid uses in clinical practice … hypnosis is a state of highly focused attention or concentration, often associated with relaxation, and heightened suggestibility. While under hypnosis (i.e., in a hypnotic trance), it seems many people are much more open to helpful suggestions than they usually are.” The suggestions made in a therapeutic setting get deep into a person’s brain, beyond their conscious thinking, leading to behavior change and the ability to overcome challenges that might otherwise seem insurmountable.

Pain Relief Hypnosis

Hypnosis has been used for pain relief for centuries, and even today is widely used in surgical procedures. How does it work? By changing the way your brain interprets and responds to pain signals.

It is always important to check out what is causing any pain you may experience, as this is your body’s way of alerting you to problems and making you take care of yourself. But once it has served its purpose and you have taken or are taking the right course of action to deal with the problem, there is no need for you to endure more pain. — read more

Stop Sex Obsession Hypnosis

An obsession with sex, although exciting at first, can quickly become exhausting and draining. And because sex is such an essential, natural drive, sex obsession can develop quite quickly, especially when other needs are not met.

Too much focus on sex inevitably distracts you from your goals, uses up valuable energy, and can potentially send the wrong signals at the wrong time in relationships, causing damage and frustration.

Put sex back into proper perspective

Sex is, of course, an important part of life. It is a natural drive that needs to be fulfilled. But sex is just part of life, and in its proper place, like the seasoning in a meal, adds flavor, spice and excitement. Too much seasoning though, and the meal becomes unpalatable.

The Stop Sex Obession pack will help your brain release its obsession with sex and allow it to return to its natural place in your life. — read more

Stop being self centered — hypnosis can help

Re-orientate yourself outwards with hypnosis

Have people close to you told you that you’re a bit too self centered?

Do you think you might be excessively wrapped up in your own affairs and concerns to the detriment of relationships with others?

Self-centeredness is one of those attributes that’s hard to pigeonhole categorically as ‘good’ or ‘bad’. Every single living thing must put itself first in a number of ways, because survival depends on it. What you focus on is only important if you’re alive to do the focusing. So we and every other creature strive first to do what favors our continued survival, and only when that survival is assured do we give attention to anything else.

So far, so good. — read more
